HALLMARKING

Hallmarking is where a precious metal is identified for its purity.  The assay office is an independent body which tests the metal, which is then marked to identify what it is.  The owner of Cherished By You is registered with the London Assay office.

Our items are primarily made in sterling silver and as such don’t require a hallmark where the weight is under 7.78grams.  Should you wish for an underweight item to be hallmarked, please add a note when making your purchase.  Approximately an additional two weeks will be required.  Please note that this will be at an additional cost.
