ORDERING

How to order:

  • Ordering is easy.  Find the item you like.  Personalise it by choosing the options from the drop down. Then add to your cart.

Payment​:

  • Payment is taken at the time via PayPal or debit/credit card.

G​ift Vouchers:

  • Should you be buying a gift for another, gift vouchers are available.  You can either select an item and choose the gift option or choose an amount.  We will then send the gift voucher to you beautifully presented in a gift box.

PRINT AND ARTWORK

Already have prints:

  • If you already have a print or piece of artwork you would like to use for an item of jewellery, then please select the option on your chosen item.  Then all you need to do is email us a scan/picture to info@cherishedbyyou.com.  Or send the original or photocopy to Scopwick, Planque Lane, Forest, Guernsey, GY8 ODT.

  • Should you wish to check that a print or artwork is suitable prior to purchase, then please email us at the address above.

Can you reuse a print: ​

  • If you have ordered from us previously and we already have a print on file, then please select the relevant option when ordering.

How long are prints retained:​

  • We will keep a copy of a print for 2 years.  

DESIGN

There is a style I like with a different design:

  • Most of our designs are interchangeable, as such if you like a particular style but the print type is different to what you are dreaming of, please contact us to see if we can make your wish a reality.

What type of metal is used:​

  • All our items are made using sterling silver.

Hallmarking:​

  • The legislation for hallmarking falls under the Hallmarking Act 1973, which requires silver in excess of 7.78 grams to be hallmarked when sold in the United Kingdom.  Most if not all of our items fall under this limit and as such are not hallmarked.

Bespoke Design:​

  • If you have a bespoke design in mind, then please contact us and we will do everything we can to make it a reality.  However, please be aware that these items tend to take a little longer to complete and we will advise on an approximate time frame once we have reviewed your request.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

When will I receive my kit:

  • All print kits will be dispatched within one working day.  If your print kit does not arrive within five days, please contact us.

How do I supply my artwork or prints:​

  • All art, hand, foot or paw prints can either be photographed or scanned, then emailed to info@cherishedbyyou.com.  Alternatively you could post the prints back to us.  All fingerprint kits will be supplied with a prepaid envelope to return the prints to us.

Progress of the item:​

  • We will keep you up to date on the progress of your item.

Opening Hours:​

  • If you need to speak to us, please email or use our contact form and will call you back from a withheld number during our opening hours.​

DELIVERY

How long will it take for my item to arrive:

  • The turnaround times for our products are detailed on the product page, which is the time from when we received a usable print from you.

Delivery service:​

  • We use Guernsey Post for all deliveries and all items will require a signature on delivery.  If you live in Guernsey they you may collect in person at an agreed time.

Do you deliver internationally:​

  • We deliver to many locations worldwide.  If you are unable to find you location at the checkout, please email us at info@cherishedbyyou.com and we will let you know the cost.

I've changed my address:

  • If you change your address after you have purchased an item please contact us immediately.  

AFTERCARE

  • In order to maintain your item in tip top condition please ensure that it does not come into contact with chemicals, chlorine, perfumes or lotions, to name just a few that will cause discoloration or tarnish.

  • Before commencing exercise remove your item.

  • Regularly check the fittings to ensure there is no damage.

  • Silver will tarnish through the air and not necessarily from damage.  To minimise this wear your item regularly and clean after use.

  • You can store your item in an airtight container or individual bag will will help to reduce tarnish and discoloration.

HOW TO CLEAN YOUR ITEM

You can clean your item using a silver polishing cloth, alternatively you can return your item to us for cleaning or another jeweller.  Polishing cloths can be purchased from us.

ENVIRONMENT

Are your products environmentally friendly:

  • All our boxes are made from recycled material with the exception of the insert.  

  • Our silver is environmentally friendly as it is a reclaimed product.

  • We have developed a way to use a reusable product in order to transfer your image onto our silver products which is beneficial to the environment.
